The company is looking for a Customer Support Engineer for a challenging position in supporting various automotive companies (OEMs) in their deployment of Company products.
In this position, you will need to analyze complex Platform SW issues and work with various teams driving for resolution.
Responsibilities:
- You will be the customer focal point for technical issues related to Platform SW (AUTOSAR, OTA update, Diagnostics, etc)
- You will understand and analyze problems and provide technical solutions where applicable.
- You will join the Company Platform SW analysis team in Germany working closely with Company SW development, suppliers, and customers (OEMs).
- You will work directly with various internal teams (OS, sensors, MCU, etc)
- You will get to be exposed to and be part of building the most challenging and inspiring product in the Automotive domain (full self-driving cars and semi-self-driving cars)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer science or equivalent technical field from an accredited institution
- A minimum of 3 years of System SW analysis or System verification in the automotive industry
- Excellent understanding of Systems Engineering
- Understanding of Autonomous Driving Systems
- Strong communication skills that translate the benefits of technical decisions in your field to colleagues, management, and other stakeholders, including customers
- Hands-on experience in using test benches Experience in working with Vector debugging tools CANoe, CANanalyzer, etc
- Knowledge of communication Buses and protocols like CAN, CANFD, ETH, SOMEIP
- Willing to work on customer location at least 2-3 days per week
- Willing to travel within Germany/Europe to take part in customer, and SW supplier workshops.
- Fluent English language and great communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of 3-5 years of System/SW/Validation experience in the Automotive industry, ADAS-related product preferred
- Knowledge of ADAS/Autonomous Driving systems
- Advanced System/Software analysis and debug skills on test benches and vehicles
- Experience with AUTOSAR-based systems, Network management, and communication modules
