Resident Engineer – SW Flashing (Munich)

We’re looking for a Customer Support Engineer for a challenging position in supporting various automotive companies (OEMs) in their deployment of Mobileye products. In this position you will need to support flashing of next generation complex Mobileye Platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be at customer site to support flashing Software/Firmware on next generation Mobileye Electronic control units.
  • You will be responsible to automate flashing process and provide inputs to automation team for cross-platform ECU flashing.
  • You will needed to travel frequently to visit customer sites across Germany
  • You will understand and analyse problems and provide technical solutions where applicable
  • You will get to be exposed and be part of building the most challenging and inspiring product in the Automotive domain (full self-driving cars and semi self-driving cars)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer science or equivalent technical field from an accredited institution
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as Resident Engineer or System verification
  • Engineer in automotive industry
  • Deep understanding of Embedded systems, debug interfaces like JTAG, UART, ethernet
  • Experience in working with external memories eMMC, NOR, SPI
  • Provisioning of cybersecurity keys on to HSMs on high performance SOCs
  • Knowledge of protocols TFTP, SFTP, SCP, UDS, Over the air updates
  • Hands-on experience on using test benches
  • Ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve issue during ECU flashing
  • Knowledge of communication Buses and protocols like CAN, CANFD, ETH, SOMEIP
  • Fluent English language and great communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of System/SW/Validation experience in Automotive industry, ADAS related product preferred.
  • Experience in working with Vector debugging tools CANoe, CANanalyzer, etc is a added advantage
  • Advanced System/Software analysis and debug skills on test benches and vehicles
  • Ability to identify and analyse HW issues
