HW Analysis Customer Support Engineer

The Company is looking for you as a Customer Support Engineer for a challenging position in supporting various automotive companies (OEMs) with the implementation of The Company’s own products. In this position you will need to analyze complex HW issues and work with different teams to find a solution.

Location: Germany (Koblenz, Stuttgart, Munich)

What will your day-to-day work look like?

  • You are the central point of contact for HW problems (FPD, CSI, etc.)
  • You understand and analyze problems and provide technical solutions if necessary You will be part of the company‘s Customer Support Team in Koblenz and work closely with the Platform Team, CM (Contractor Manufacture) and the customers (OEMs).
  • You will work directly with various teams (system, hardware, software, safety, cybersecurity and production control teams)
  • You will be exposed to and contribute to the development of the most challenging and inspiring product in the automotive space (fully self-driving cars and semi-self-driving cars).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical field from a recognized institution
  • At least two years of experience in the verification and validation of ECU systems in the automotive electrical and electronics industry
  • Excellent understanding of electronic hardware and topology
  • Strong communication skills to communicate the benefits of technical decisions in your area of expertise to colleagues, management and other stakeholders, including customers
  • Experience working with oscilloscopes, signal generators, data acquisition systems, etc.
  • Willingness to work at least 2-3 days per week at customer site
  • Fluency in English and good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in systems/EE/validation in the automotive industry, preferably ADAS-related products.
  • Knowledge of ECU manufacturing and testing.
  • Hardware analysis and debugging ability.
  • German speaking
